These terms govern your use of shrewdplace.com. Shrewdplace is published by Clement Brian as an individual, and “we” and “us” mean him. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

Not advice

Shrewdplace publishes general information about money, health and relationships. It isn’t professional advice for your situation, and you are responsible for what you decide to do with it. Our disclaimer is part of these terms.

Our content

The articles, images, design and code on the site belong to us or to the people who license them to us. You may read, print and save articles for your own use, quote short passages with a link to the original, and link to any page.

Without our written permission, please don’t republish or sell our work, in whole or in substantial part, or use it to train or fine-tune an AI model. Don’t use our name or logo in a way that suggests we’re connected with you. To ask for permission, write to legal@shrewdplace.com.

Using the site

Don’t interfere with the site or its security, overload it, copy it in bulk with automated tools, or use it to break the law. We may block access if you do. Search engines may index the site as usual.

We link to other websites, and some of those links may be affiliate links that earn us a commission. How we make money explains them. We don’t control other sites and aren’t responsible for their content, their products or your dealings with them.

No warranty

The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We may change or remove any content at any time.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content, including indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages and lost profits or data. Some states don’t allow these exclusions or limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the new version.
